On the outside, Full-Size Chevrolet Coupes, Sedans and Wagons got new Stand-Up Hood Ornaments this year, plus Composite Headlamps that combined High and Low Beams into a Single Unit.
Joining the upscale Classic Brougham was a new Brougham LS Sedan, aiming even further upscale with it's Formal Landau Vinyl Roof.
A new Base Station Wagon joined the former Classic Wagon, both carry a Standard 307 cu. in. (5.0-litter) V-8 Engine. Coupes and Sedans came with a Standard 262 cu. in (4.3-litter) V-6, with a 305 vu. in. V-8 optional. All three engines added Roller Lifters this year, and both V-8's used Four-Barrel Carburetors.
