1996 CAPRICE CLASSIC: GENUINE FULL-SIZE VALUE

WARREN, MI - The full-size Chevrolet Caprice celebrates its 30th birthday in 1996, and Chevy owners get the presents: an impressive combination of luxury, safety, carrying capacity and convenience features at an affordable Chevrolet price.

Caprice Classic is a full-size expression of Genuine Chevrolet value. The rear-wheel-drive, V8-powered family sedan offers a smooth idle, quick cold starts, and extended maintenance schedules for 1996. Caprice Classic is also available in a Wagon model. On-Board Diagnostics reach a new level of sophistication with the implementation of OBD II (On-Board Diagnostics Second Generation) for '96. The Powertrain Control Module monitors the emissions system and its components to detect deterioration or malfunction.

All Caprice Classic models offer an impressive array of standard equipment that includes a 4-wheel anti-lock brake system, driver and front-passenger air bags, air conditioning (with CFC-free R-134a refrigerant), a Tilt-Wheel Adjustable Steering Column, intermittent windshield wipers, tinted glass, child security rear-door locks, and PASS-Key II theft-deterrent system.
